Info:
Eastern Weyr is a relaxed canon Weyr (woman may ride blues but not browns) set in the 12th Pass where AIVAS was never discovered, there were no Long Intervals, and none of the events in the 9th Pass, except for the founding of Southern and Eastern Weyrs and their subsequent Holds and Halls, happened. None of the characters from the books ever existed and of course Thread will still fall…History:
A tragic goldflight cost the Weyr two of its mature queens, and with the first Threadfall of the Pass growing ever nearer, it couldn’t have happened at a more inopportune time. Everyone is trying to cope with their grief and confusion, but life must go on, and gold Ticiath has risen to become the new Senior Queen!
At Eastern Weyr we value engaging plotlines, dynamic characters, quality writing, and a creative atmosphere. If you've ever felt lost in the crowd in a larger place, or wanted to find a group where every character is appreciated and the plots are designed to let everyone have a say and an impact, then Eastern Weyr just might be for you!
We welcome writers of all ages and experience who are looking for an opportunity to be a part of a Weyr from the very beginning. Come and help us to carve out the history of Eastern Weyr throughout the 12th Pass!

As we begin play at Eastern Weyr, it is the first Turn of what will be the twelfth Pass. Clutches in recent Turns have showed a distinct spike in size, and the Weyr prepares to meet the Pass with a more than satisfactory number of fighting dragons. The dragons have grown to be slightly larger than their ninth Pass brethren, which has led to a rise in more browns among the ranks of Wingleader and Wingsecond, with even the occasional blue filling the latter position. Despite these recent innovations, the leadership holds a shared traditional point of view … but only time will tell how the inhabitants of Eastern Weyr will rise to meet the challenges of the coming Pass.Additional Comments:
Greenriders and candidates especially needed, and lurkers welcome! ^_^
